Jolene’s Hypnosis Success Story

Jolene Wright, Clinical Hypnotherapist- Personal Story and Blog
Jolene Wright, CHT.

My personal experience with hypnosis is one of the things that lead me into this helping profession. I had been to talk therapist in the past to help me deal with life stresses, transitions, and relationship issues and was looking for a different way to address my personal growth more effectively.

Talk Therapy VS. Hypnotherapy

While talk therapy was helpful and I had made some progress recognizing unhealthy patterns in my life, it was light years from how effective my sessions using Heart Centered Hypnotherapy was!  That was a journey of self discovery, healing, and empowerment!

  • A SURVEY OF PSYCHOLOGICAL LITERATURE by psychologist Alfred A. Barrios, Ph.D. revealed the following recovery rates:  Psychoanalysis: 38% Recovery after 600 Sessions,  Behavior Therapy: 72% Recovery after 22 Sessions,  Hypnotherapy: 93% Recovery after 6 Sessions Source –  American Health Magazine

The Conscious Mind

It was one thing to analyze unhealthy patterns in ones life or have them pointed out by a professional but a whole different story to know how to act on what it is you know with your conscious mind .

The Sub-Conscious Mind

With hypnosis behaviors can be changed by addressing the source of issues.  Our subconscious minds holds all of our beliefs. When we discover the beliefs that are holding us in those unhealthy behavior patterns and correct the beliefs that are inaccurate or no longer serve us, then by accepting these new healthier beliefs into our  subconscious we are empowered to act on what we consciously know because it now matches what our subconscious believes.  Thus we begin to see the changes in our lives as we heal at a deep level.

Erroneous Beliefs, that hold us in unhealthy behavior patterns.

An example of an erroneous belief that may hold a person in an unhealthy behavior patterns might be, a young woman who may says on one hand that she is a strong independent woman who is lovable and beautiful. On the other hand she is constantly in unhealthy relationships that are emotionally harmful.

She may come to a point where she can even consciously recognize the pattern but it is the core belief that lies at the subconscious level like, “I am not lovable, worthy, or good enough”  that is driving her to fulfill the subconscious belief that she is not lovable ect, therefore she keeps unconsciously choosing relationships to mirror that belief.

When she heals that part of herself through the use of techniques used in Heart Centered Hypnosis or Five Path Hypnosis and changes that old negative belief, what she consciously knows will match what she subconsciously knows to be true for herself.  Then it will be much easier to make healthier choices that support her more fully as the strong, independent, lovable and beautiful woman she is!

The Power of Hypnosis is Transformational!

For me the healing that took place and continues to take place in my life because I have used hypnosis and hypnosis has been life changing for me. I am forever grateful to have found these methods of hypnotherapy and had the opportunity to work with  gentle and compassionate hypnotherapists.
