About Jolene, NLP and Hypnosis…
My name is Jolene Wright, I am a Certified 5-PATH® Hypnotherapist & 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® Teacher, I am registered with the State of Washington, my registration number is HP10001693. I am also Certified as an NLP Practitioner and Life Coach, Hypnobabies Childbirth Educator, & Hypnosis Fertility Specialist . In order to best assist you I am continually adding to my credentials by continuing my education in my field specialty, Hypnosis. I am currently working towards achieving an additional certification with The Wellness Institute in “Heart Centered Hypnotherapy” and then I will continue on with a two year internship with the Wellness Institute which is located in Issaquah Washington. I am also a proud member of The National Guild of Hypnotist, which is one of the largest and oldest hypnotherapy organizations.
I am married with two teenage girls. For the last 13 years I have ran my own service based business while I attending college and raising my family.
I began my journey of education with the intent to one day be able to help assist people in creating the changes they desire in their life. I have found that Hypnosis is one of the fastest and most profound ways to help people make the shifts they desire, when coupled with their own commitment to growth and change.
I use a combination of 5-PATH®,Heart Centered Hypnotherapy, and NLP for effective long term change. 5-PATH® is a systematic and universal approach to hypnosis created by Cal Banyan and Heart Centered Hypnotherapy was created by Diane Zimberhoff and uses elements of traditional and Ericksonian hypnosis along with other modalities for a well rounded mind, body, spirit approach to healing and lasting change. Heart Centered Hypnotherapy and Five Path are both Client centered approaches that bring together Hypnosis, Insights, and Deep Personal Transformation. Through this work you will also learn new strategies and techniques like self-hypnosis to empower yourself by engaging both conscious and subconscious mind.
Our conscious mind finds it difficult to change unwanted habits. Habits can be very persistent like a noxious weed. For example, when a person decides to try and quit smoking, lose weight, or let go of negative emotions they typically think they can accomplish this through sheer willpower alone. (Try, just try to simply to cut that weed back to the ground and see if that stops it! ) However, a student of the mind knows that willpower simply initiates the desire to change, and is usually unsuccessful at eliminating the problem on a long term basis because the behavior you are trying to eliminate is usually is rooted in unresolved emotion. The behavior is usually just distracts you from a feeling you don’t like in order to keep you from having to address the underlying problem. This cycle the “Feel Bad/Distract Cycle,” is referred to in the book, “The Secrete Language of Feelings,” by Cal D. Banyan. It would be like going to the doctor and taking a pill to fix some ailment when all it really does is numb the pain for a time but does not address or fix the real cause of your problem. The problems is still there and it will rear it’s ugly head when that pill wears off!
The subconscious mind, however, is able to change unwanted habits by readily accepting positive suggestions. Therein lies the secret to the effectiveness of hypnosis: Through exploration and release of old erroneous believes and by creating new more empowering beliefs and positive suggestion, hypnosis can assist with changing your beliefs, attitudes, or behaviors which you would like to improve.
